About Lisa
I am a Canadian artist who has been living in Denver for more than 20 years now. When I’m not making art, I do a lot of wandering on foot, looking for adventures. I also show fancy guinea pigs.
I do a lot of acrylic painting, but dabble in gouache and water color as well.
My work tends to be a bit whimsical, a bit otherworldly, with a hint of weirdness.
In addition to painting, I also do some work with textiles, and assemblage, as well as creating spirit figures, made from natural and unnatural materials.
I have been a DAS member for the past three years, and am currently on the board of directors.
I also coordinate classes and workshops – I have a background in education, and love to teach.
