I&#039;m unsure if changing the media is not enough to take art to market. For example, one of my friends carves others&#039; Tweets into stone and sells them. Do you think that he ought to come up with his own idea too? Charley Woolridge casts others&#039; graffiti signs into iron. Is this not original?

Isn&#039;t an internet meme public property? Isn&#039;t it fair to stand on the shoulders of giants?

Anyway it&#039;s well known that I donate the proceeds so _I_ wouldn&#039;t profit from it, either. I see no better way to use a public domain internet meme than getting it onto someone&#039;s walls as fine art (in fact, onto as many walls as possible) and sharing the profits with the artists who made it possible.
