Canvassing/Donations Director for Denver Homeless Art Exhibit

Now recruiting — Denver Art Society is recruiting an Executive of Donations for its annual Denver Homeless Art Exhibit. The position is a compensated volunteer opportunity.

Together, you and your team of canvassers will finance one of Denver’s most compassionate art exhibits. Give your skills to support for our homeless neighbors and our creative community at once.

Responsibilities include recruitment and assembly of your own canvassing team, execution of daily canvassing operations, and management of the follow-through involved in donor satisfaction. You will have to hold your team responsible for meeting their weekly donation goals, and recruiting to maintain of grow the size of your team.

All donations go to charity. The canvassing team is part of a program to support local art projects and spread awareness of artlessness.

You will be responsible for the donations necessary to bring canvasses, art supplies, and a large annual public festival to help homeless artists in Denver. 100% of sales go directly to the homeless artists.

The Exhibit, produced by Denver Art Society, takes place on the First Friday in November of every year. We need a year-round, full-time compensated employee to manage the event, however the current position is until Nov 5 only. After this, a review will be completed for possible extension to a year-round, full-time compensated position.

Please experienced candidates only (more eager, less experienced canvassers who would like to join our canvassing team – please send an email with your info to canvass@denverartsociety.org now).
