Our Mission
Our mission is to make sure every student in our neighborhood has access to art teachers, art supplies, and art gallery space.
We are a nonprofit co-op organized and funded by people like you who become a Members of the Denver Art Society.
Right now, we are renovating a building in the center of Denver’s Santa Fe Drive Arts District. We host community events, local performances, and local art exhibitions. We offer free classes to people 25 years of age and younger in the La Alma, Lincoln Park, Baker and Golden Triangle neighborhoods. We provide resources, work spaces, and exhibition opportunities for local visual and performing artists.
Denver Art Society is a nonprofit organization, registered in Colorado on August 14, 2009.
“Imagine a neighborhood in which our most creative teachers are working with our most creative students. That’s our commitment.“
-Sean McGowan, Co-Founder, Denver Art Society
