I've gotten a lot of responses to my last post. I want to be clear. We are arts teachers. The work we do creates a better future for everyone. Our work opens minds. Our work engages students. Our work strengthens essential ties between schools, communities, and families. Make no mistake, many students get an excellent arts education. Our teachers have never been more passionate.
